"An earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale struck in from shore towards Yogyakarta, Indonesia's cultural capital, killing more than 5,000 people and wounding several others on May 27 2006. Tens of thousands were left homeless, many of which would not have survived had it not been for the gracious help given by the world's international community -or rather the human spirit- whose nobility shines through tragedy in the face of disaster. Thank you world, this art is for you."
